Breaker 88 Captain Gonzalez named to US U18 team for Copas Chivas Tournament in Mexico - January 12, 2007 - Santa Cruz, CA. U18B Breaker '88 co-captain Jose Gonzalez has been named to the US U18 National Team that will travel to Guadalajara, Mexico to play in the 2007 Copa Chivas the end of this month. He flies to LA at months end for a two day team training session at the Home Depot National Training Center before the team travels to compete in this international tournament. To date Gonzalez has played in seven matches for the US U18s in 2006, starting in five of those matches. Recently he was called into National team service against the U17 Brazil National Team in Bradenton, FL at the 2006 Nike Friendlies. Earlier that year he received his first four International CAPS for play against Hungary, Malta, Poland and Slovakia, starting in three of the four matches the US team played in the 2006 Slovakia Cup.
