August 2007 - SCC Breakers Jose Gonzales was recently selected by the U.S. Men's U18 National Team to participate in the SBS Cup in Shizuoka, Japan, August 11th - 14th.  Jose started all three games in the tournament, going the distance against the Shizuoka Youth Team, U18 Ukraine National Team and the U18 Japan National Team. Jose Gonzales was first called into the US National Team program as a member of the U15 US National Team player pool. Jose has also been a member of the SCC Breakers for the last 7 years.

July 1, 2007 - Breaker 88's Jose Gonzalez has been named to the 2007 Parade Magazine All-America High School Team

Breaker 88 Captain Gonzalez named to US U18 team for Copas Chivas Tournament in Mexico - January 12, 2007 - Santa Cruz, CA. U18B Breaker '88 co-captain Jose Gonzalez has been named to the US U18 National Team that will travel to Guadalajara, Mexico to play in the 2007 Copa Chivas the end of this month. He flies to LA at months end for a two day team training session at the Home Depot National Training Center before the team travels to compete in this international tournament. To date Gonzalez has played in seven matches for the US U18s in 2006, starting in five of those matches. Recently he was called into National team service against the U17 Brazil National Team in Bradenton, FL at the 2006 Nike Friendlies. Earlier that year he received his first four International CAPS for play against Hungary, Malta, Poland and Slovakia, starting in three of the four matches the US team played in the 2006 Slovakia Cup.
